West London wedding photography – a purple themed wedding at Royal Berkshire Hotel, featuring butterflies, natural contemporary portraits and a Photo booth…
The doors opened to a house filled with people, all of them in a wonderful mood and ready for this stormy morning to slowly break in to a sunny day – and become one of the most important days in Luke and Emma’s lives. Suddenly I just felt such a thrill about capturing this wedding. Smiles and enthusiasm where just everywhere, and I felt like – actually I could just keep photographing til the next day really.
The ceremony was held at the very same church where Emma’s own parents had got married many years ago! At the beautiful Saint Bartholomews church in Nettlebed.
Then we all hit the road for their countryside reception at Royal Berkshire Hotel just outside Ascot. Emma and Luke had some really beautiful decor and theme arranged for their day – the cake was almost like a little fairytale, and the Photo booth was a real hit. And I know that this will be hard to believe – but even the sun came out to join the party!
I thought their idea was fantastic… to bring Emma’s parent’s wedding portrait from the very same church and recreate it! And it’s quite amazing to see how some things have changed and some things have kept exactly the same through time…
Congratulations Emma & Luke!
