Wedding photographer West london – shooting a purple themed wedding at Saint Bartholomews church Nettlebed and Royal Berkshire Hotel…
It was 8 something in the morning. I was behind my steering wheel with two – yes two large Costa – mochas, thinking that this would be the day for me to faint behind my camera. For some reason I was so excited about this wedding so that I couldn’t sleep… and had had just under 2 hrs of sleep. With 11 hrs of wedding to capture in front of me…
Then the doors opened to a house filled with people, all of them in a wonderful mood and ready for this stormy morning to slowly break in to a sunny day and become one of the most important days in Luke and Emma’s lives. And in an instance I was wide awake. There ain’t gonna be no sleepless night stopping me from capturing this beautiful day! Smiles and enthusiasm where just everywhere on this day, and I felt like – actually I could just keep photographing til the next day really.
The ceremony was held at the very same church where Emma’s own parents had got married many years ago! At the beautiful Saint Bartholomews church in Nettlebed.
Then we all hit the road for their countryside reception at Royal Berkshire Hotel just outside Ascot. The atmosphere was at absolute top all day long, Emma and Luke had some really beautiful decor and theme arranged for their day – the cake was almost like a little fairytale, and I know that this will be hard to believe – but even the sun came out to join the party!
I thought their idea was fantastic… to bring Emma’s parent’s wedding portrait from the same church and recreate it! And it’s quite amazing to see how some things have changed and some things have kept exactly the same through time…
Congratulations Emma & Luke!
