Wedding photographer Hampshire, St Marys church Old Basing and Beechdown reception venue…

So now when Laura and Will have been featured and interviewed about their day on the Whimsical wonderland weddings  blog () – it is time for me to create my own chapter out of my favorites from their day. (Actually it will be 2 chapters this time – I just think that their slightly unconventional portrait session should have a chapter on its own)

Laura and Will tied the knot in the beautiful countryside church St Marys in the very atmospheric village of Old Basing. Everything was perfect. Laura got ready in her family- home surrounded by friends and family – and football comments from the telly! Will got the chance to calm his nerves with his mates and a couple of pints down the pub next door to the church. Everybody where in an awesome mode all day. The only small thing that didn’t quite work out was the weather. But we had some remedy for the rain as well! As you will see in chapter 2….

Here it is. A wedding in fern green and bright orange – that made me long for summer – and lots of smiles and atmosphere…

St Mary’s church in Old Basing is the perfect church to get married in if it rains. There is definitely a lot of space indoors with even light and some fantastic backdrops…

I loved this cake! It’s so funky… it’s like an Alice in wonderland- feel to it, don’t you think?
