Hi. I’m Louise, so glad you’ve found me!
I love shooting weddings and location portraits! And this is what I mainly do. But I also have several commercial clients for architecture, interior and event work – so if you are a corporate client, please follow this link: Commercial and corporate photography and you’ll be in the right place!

I’m based in Clapham, SW London, but if your wedding is elsewhere in the UK or abroad, I gladly travel! I really love photographing on different locations.![]()
Me as your wedding photographer!
I shoot weddings for the love of capturing people. I find excitement in looking for moments, thinking creatively and tell a story. Your wedding images are about you — I haven’t shot a single wedding or a couple the same as any another — I personalise my photography to best capture your personalities, your day and your style of wedding..
My style has a contemporary editorial edge – your portraits are pre- planned to best suit you. They can be inspired by fashion and magazines, be creative or completely natural – as you wish. My aim is to guide you to feel relaxed and for the portraits to be a reflection on your personalities. I mix the editorial approach with creative documentary – working in the background for large parts of your day, unobtrusively capturing moments as they happen. And I’ll be there your whole day. From the chaos in the morning. Still shooting away when you’re rocking the dance floor in the evening.
All my full day clients will have a complementary, fun pre- wedding shoot on location. This session is so essential: It will make you a lot more relaxed with my presence, and give you some ideas and inspiration for your actual day. This is a chance to go a bit creative as well — come up with a special location, or a theme or a certain vibe… Or it can just be all natural, you decide.
I keep inspired all the time. As soon as I walk down the street I look at things — I look at people, I look for compositions around me, I scroll through weddings and fashion magazines and absorb movies — and I store all my ideas in my head for future weddings. And I’m inspired by you! I want us to be leveled before your day, so that I have a good feel for what images you want, and how to best photograph you.

What else…? I grew up in a village outside Stockholm, Sweden. In a house filled to the brim with rabbits, hamsters, cats and dogs + four kids with me somewhere in the middle of three brothers. Daughter to a third generation of bakers - and when I say bakers in plural I mean it: Nearly all of my father’s nine siblings and my mum… me and my brothers, loads of cousins… and our friends – where involved in my father’s bakery business! I’m also a descendant to circus acrobats, opera singers, politicians, vikings and gypsies…

Couldn’t help myself when I found this in my mum’s old photo album… this is me way back in the 80′s, dressed and ready to attend my first ever wedding… my parent’s!
I never ever picked up a camera during childhood. (OK I confess, I might have had one of those plastic compact cameras actually… possibly in a quite horrid, red colour) But I wasn’t a ‘natural born photographer’ – I pretty much stumbled upon photography ten years ago, as an injury put an end to my dance – training at Pineapple dance studios in London…
And I was hooked.
Since then I’ve spent 4 years in professional photography training and 4 years as a freelance in the UK – with some weddings in Sweden, Lithuania and Canada as well
. I ♥ traveling and seeing new places too. Before embarking on my freelancing, I traveled Asia for ten months, with just an old school medium format camera and a bag full of film rolls as travel companions. (OK, I did make some human friends along the way, I wasn’t totally sad) And by the way, that medium format – although still around but tucked away in my wardrobe – has been replaced by a Digital Nikon.
xx Louise
