My first shock when I landed in Sweden for this Easter, was when stepping out of the plane buckled up in my all weathers jacket, only to find that Stockholm was warmer than the London I had left behind. My second shock was as my brothers and I drove past this pile of snow in my home town Ösmo, I had to check again… yes it was 25 C in the air. And still this last piece of snow was resisting to give in! The explanation must be, that the unusually cold, long and snowy winter – skipped spring and all the suddenly turned in to summer. And this poor little snow pile, which only recently was a massive snow pile ploughed up by the council – just didn’t know what was going on. I’ve never ever experienced snow on a 25 c day before! I had to take my camera for a stroll. Get some pics of the snow, and some pics of the early stage of snow free summer surrounding it.
(2 days later every single bit of snow was gone)
The owner of this car is the editor of the Borgward Magazine – he’s asked me to cover an event for old vintage cars. What a dream come true… I love old style and vintage! But then on that same day I have a wedding booked… And I love weddings too (- this one will feature country side mansion with huge garden swimming pool purposely built for fashion shoots, so a photographically interesting wedding I’d imagine!) So I guess I can’t loose. At least I got some shots of his Borgward Isabella car, perfectly stationed as it was in the spring sun.
