Last weekend I had the pleasure of working with Michelle for the first time – so a massive welcome to my new assistant!

WHAT MICHELLE SAYS….

“I have been following Louise and her blog for just over a year. I would describe her style as capturing a modern fairytale.
I’ve always been interested in photography, from when my sister used to take me into the dark room and produce prints at 6th form. I bought my first camera in New York last year and with my love of travel, I’m enjoying capturing moments everywhere I go.
I had my first assisting job with Louise on Saturday, 12th April with the beautiful Natalie and Josef. It was such a wonderful day and I can’t wait to see the pictures – especially the portrait shots of the couple!”
“To work with Louise was great. She was very organised and had thoroughly planned shots for the big day. She had researched the locations, checked the weather and had really listened to the couple, taking on board what they wanted. Her attention to detail was meticulous, spotting everything – she even noticed that a tree that she had in mind for the background in the portraits, had been cut in the few days before the wedding. She was constantly on the go all day, being discrete when she needed to be and interacting when that was required – like the group shots. A real pleasure to work with, full of fun and creativity!”
“I’m excited about the next location for the next couple’s memorable day. I’ve got details for more weddings to come this year from Louise, so I think I made a good impression!” (Yes you did)

To all you lovely people who have booked a full day wedding photography package for this season, you’d be sure to see more of Michelle!
It was an absolute pleasure to have Michelle around last Saturday – otherwise also working in HR for large fashion brands and creative industries and with her love for fashion, this girl is on the ball with things. She really helped speeding up the work process throughout the day.
It was just so great to have somebody that you feel you can trust to look after the equipment, to quickly change lenses or to hold things when needed – I just felt that I could really and truly concentrate on capturing the photographs for the couple. And very importantly, Michelle was a big smile all day long….
So welcome to Michelle, nice to have you!
