I’m Louise a London wedding photographer, equally based in London and Stockholm Sweden, available to photograph weddings anywhere in the UK and Europe. When capturing a wedding, I’m inspired by the split second moment, environment and atmosphere, creative portraiture, photojournalism, story telling & fashion photography. And the people in front of my camera of course. Since graduating as a photographer from University of Westminster, London in 2009, I’ve had the joy of meeting all kinds of interesting people and visiting all sorts of amazing venues to capture people’s special day. And I can’t wait to hear the plans you have for yours. DROP ME A LINE HERE

    - In the last few years, I've been lucky to have had several real weddings and styled bridal shoots published by different National UK wedding magazines, Bodas Honduras and on inspiring wedding blogs worldwide
    - Finalist two years in a row, for “London wedding of the year” (Your London Wedding Magazine)
    - The 2015 photographer for “UK wedding of the year” held by the magazine Wedding
    - The selected fashion campaign photographer for the vibrant bridal shows at London Excel and Manchester Event City
    - The kind of funniest thing right now… that the next Bridget Jones movie will be using my wedding images in a scene ;)
    - The truly best thing however, is that I’m actually walking and can practice my passion for yoga every single day. At birth it was said that I would never walk. But then some kind of amazing miracle doctor from America flew in to Sweden… and changed my fate - life is just full of miracles :)

It was a bit of a nice surprise to be contacted by an Honduras wedding Magazine (!) wishing to publish one of our bridal shoots.

Definitely a special feeling to have been found by an editor all the way across the pond… or it might even be a few ponds actually 😉 .

We reckon that Bodas Magazine in Honduras did a really excellent feature of our 1950s shoot – a shoot originally shot for Your London Wedding Magazine, this bridal inspiration shoot features 1950s style and vintage, playing with colourful pastel / techni colour and carrying influences from the era of Marilyn Monroe. Artist Amelia Barnes (founder of “Miss Vintage wedding Affair”) was behind the creative ideas for the shoot, which was realised with a whole team of London wedding professionals, against the quirky backdrops of Battersea Arts Centre in London.

Thank you to editor Tania at Bodas Magazine – the feature looks great!

Our model Megan McConnell is also an incredibly talented singer – and had us all freezing still when she started rocking it on the uculele 😉 professional-bridal-photographer-london wedding-photographer-london-2 vintage-wedding-photographer-london bridal-vintage-magazine-shoot-london

It’s not a secret that I looooved doing this February engagement shoot for this American-English couple. I absolutely enjoyed hearing all the ideas they had during our pre-meet, setting out to find locations that where so London – but not the typical “touristy London”, more of an off the beaten track London, with quirky and hidden locations… and with only some elements of London landmarks.

So I’m glad that Zank you Magazine have found the shoot and decided to publish it on their blog – as inspiration for couples planning on wedding portraits with a feel of vintage or quirk in this lovely city, and for e-shoots planned to this time of the year: While the leaves are still off and the low sky light on a sunny day is crisp and clear and absolutely gorgeous.

Thank you to Veronica at Zank You Magazine for the feature!

Last year I changed album suppliers and I absolutely love the album selection from my new suppliers.

Yesterday I believe we finally had our first day of spring – the birds where singing, I didn’t need a jumper under my jacket, and one little lone flower had already popped up in our back yard (!) So I stepped out into the glorious sunshine and did a little photo shoot featuring the new collection of sample albums I recently received. Hopefully this will give you guys an idea of what the albums look like, what different colours and cover materials are available – and also, giving you ideas on how images can be strung together to tell a story about the wedding day.

The photographs are printed straight on to the pages. With seamless printing across the gutter in the middle of the book ↑

The albums are very versatile in terms of weaving a story together using different layouts and mixing large and small images how it best fits the selected photographs. But what I also love about these album makers, is the whole presentation of their products – such as the boxes the albums arrive in. The standard box is black box with leather feel in fantastic quality – or, when ordering an upgrade album with leather cover & high quality mat art paper, the box for the album is of a very special type of linen – as in this example:

There are several different sizes available – with special rate for smaller copies to parents/friends/family! The most popular size is the 10×14 inch. Although larger A3 or smaller A4 are examples of sizes available as well. In this sample below, the main book is in size 10×14, and the “smaller version” is slightly smaller than A4. But what’s special with this album company, is that the quality isn’t compromised for the smaller copies – they are printed with exactly the same quality as the main book!

The pages are of “card-quality” durable thickness and have a printing quality that is of professional standard, with a semi gloss finish to it. (Art finish mat is available as an upgrade)

There are several different cover options available as well. I particularly like the linen ones ↑ – they come with the warm toned etching included, and I just love how you can see the fibers of the material. There are also plenty of colours available – you’re very likely to find one that goes perfectly with the colour theme of your wedding 🙂 . Just scroll down a bit further, to see the different colours and cover materials available…

The albums are also available with Photographic cover – a photograph from your day etched into the front cover, which would be combined with a leatherette spine.
