Wedding photography Stoke Newington Town Hall, followed bya vintage reception at Kenwood House in Hampstead Heath

This wedding is a bit of a double whamming – a London city wedding and a countryside wedding all in one. The day started with a ceremony at the beautiful, warmly lit Stoke Newington Town Hall in North East London, and carried on with a countryside feel reception… in the middle of Hampstead. The Kenwood House Old Kitchen and Brewery in Hampstead Heath, was the perfect chilled out venue for their wedding reception. Tucked away from the city, the vintage style dining area in the Old kitchen part of the building, got decorated up in a countryside feel with wildflowers and bunting, and the Old Brewery part of the building, served as an evening reception featuring a live band that rocked. Such a great day to be part of. And it’s not every day that you get the chance to photograph the couple portrait session… with a view over all of London! wedding-photographers-stoke-newington-town-hall-2 Louise Bjorling wedding photography Louise Bjorling wedding photography Louise Bjorling wedding photography Louise Bjorling wedding photography Louise Bjorling wedding photography Louise Bjorling wedding photography wedding-photographer-stoke-newington-town-hall-bjorling-04 Louise Bjorling wedding photography Louise Bjorling wedding photography Louise Bjorling wedding photography Louise Bjorling wedding photography

Tank you guys for letting me be part of your day!

I love places like Battersea Arts Centre. The beautiful, almost theatrical function halls, the 1950s diner set up on the staircase, the 70s space underneath it, the quirky corridors and cozy cafe…. there are not many places like it in London – and such a cool place to get married at! So it was a real pleasure to get to photograph the marketing campaign for Miss Vintage Wedding Affair at this venue. This is the second part of our shoot, our 1920s shoot from the upstairs Council Chamber. All planning by Amelia Barnes, owner of Miss Vintage Wedding Affair.

Pop Art – vamp up your vintage theme!

Your London Wedding Magazine has just featured our 1950’s bridal shoot, a shoot I did for Amelia Barnes (organiser of Miss vintage wedding Affair) – fantastic to see it in print. Amelia brought together some very talented suppliers from the wedding industry for this shoot at the Grand Hall of Battersea Arts Centre – so if you’re a bride on the outlook for a touch of vintage, it’s well worth to have a look through the credit list at the end of this post. So here it is, a bridal shoot that vamps up the vintage style with some bright techni- colours, and has fun with the era of Marilyn Monroe. Pick up the latest issue of YLW Magazine to read more about Amelia’s thoughts behind the shoot. Ok, I’m gonna get to it – I’m gonna share some shots. Enjoy and hope it inspires!

xx Louise
